Make a Donation

Worcester Aids Foundation relies on grants and donations to carry out all its support and advice work.

HIV is on the increase in the UK. In the last 5 years over 40,000 people have been diagnosed HIV positive and this number is rising annually. This is reflected locally in the growing number of people diagnosed HIV+ in Worcestershire and Herefordshire who come to us for help and support.

What does your donation buy?

  • £10 will buy some basic toiletries for an HIV+ client receiving treatment in hospital or a phone card to enable them to call family or friends
  • £30 will buy a box of groceries for a family with HIV experiencing extreme hardship
  • £50 will buy a selection of HIV booklets for HIV+ clients and general HIV information booklets
  • £150 will pay for the delivery of a half-day training programme to educate young people in Worcestershire & Herefordshire about HIV
  • £200 is the cost of a month's transport service to help patients attend hospital and clinic appointments

You can also help by offering your services as a volunteer.

If you would like to make a donation, write a cheque payable to The Worcester AIDS Foundation and send it to:

We will shortly be setting up an online donation scheme — watch this space.
